Google has announced that it is postponing the introduction of a new ranking signal related to the indicators Web Vitals until mid-June 2021.
The user experience of the site will be considered along with existing signals such as mobile friendliness, secure browsing, HTTPS security and intrusive advertising guidelines.
The changes, which were originally due to come in May, will be phased in gradually. In fact, the new ranking factor will not be fully in force until August.
New report in Google Search Console
Google has also announced the release of a new page user experience report in Google Search Console that displays the percentage of URLs with good results. Currently, page experience only relates to mobile search.
Good URLs refers to the percentage of mobile URLs that have both good Core Web Vitals status and no mobile usability issues according to the Mobile Usability report.
